Dale and his wife, Josie, work for Adam Chandler, the owner of a holiday caravan park on the coast.  Their families have also been best friends for years.  Dale and Josie are happy, content with their lives and proud of their two young sons.  Money can be tight, and Dale isn't fond of his mother-in-law, but these are all things he can manage.  He maintains the caravans and the park for Adam, and Josie works in the office.

Adam and his wife don't need to worry about money.  He likes his businessman status, likes to wear a suit and tie and drive a flash car.  To all intents and purposes they are the ideal, perfect family.  They have two teenage children they love very much, but at fifteen years old Tammy is hard to control.  Conniving and smart, she believes she is in love with Dale and sets out to win him over.

Dale, uncomfortable with the advances from a girl he has known since she was born, thinks he has put things right, but in retaliation Tammy throws out an accusation that will split the families down the middle and create conflict within each one.

What used to be a long-standing friendship between Dale and Adam, has now turned into mistrust and anger.  When Josie finds what she believes is the truth, she leaves Dale, taking their two boys with her.

Without making things public, how can Dale live with the accusation?  And Adam, standing firmly on the side of his daughter, knows only too well that she might not be telling the truth.  But what if she is?
